The Guild runs a number of classes and workshops throughout the year including children’s classes in the school holidays and associated local, regional and national events. See the Calendar for the regular mini-workshops.

Children’s Embroidery Classes
Little Sew ‘n Sews and Junior Stitchers
These classes, for children 7 years and upwards, are held Mon-Thurs during the second week of the school holidays (except the Christmas break) 1-3pm. Classes are $15 per session which covers the cost of all materials and tuition. The children are encouraged to bring their own sharp scissors, tape measure, needles and pins in a named container.
There are two groups beginning with the Little Sew ‘n Sews then progressing to the Junior Stitchers. Contact Glennis Hepburn for more information or to book in a child please email Helen Milbank
Great Escape Weekend
The Northern North Island Guilds host the Great Escape Weekend each March. This weekend includes workshops under the guidance of expert international and local tutors, traders’ tables, an exhibition and socialising. See the Great Escape website for more information.
